MACHINED SCREWS AFTER COLD FORMING This range is represented by items which are initially cold formed and then finished by machining operation to obtain for example cone points, rounded ends, reduced shanks, drilling holes… The combination cold forming + machining is mainly convenient to replace the turning process from bars on multi-splindle lathe, when volumes increase and it’s important to reduce production cost and to speed up the whole performance.
